The 1796 Shield Society is the Lewes Fire Department Foundation’s annual leadership giving program, created for those who want to make a lasting investment in the future of our Fire Department. Through annual and Founding Member commitments, Shield Society members help provide the resources needed to keep Lewes firefighters and EMTs prepared to protect our community—today and for generations to come.
